MyFitnessPal is an overall health tracking app that may assist with weight loss. It’s received accolades from Consumer Report as the #1 rated diet. It’s also won the PC Magazine Editor’s Choice Selection and has been the #1 Health & Fitness app for a consecutive 4 years. MyFitnessPal can connect to 50+ apps and devices. The app is a free download, but costs $9.99 per month and $49.99 per year when upgrading to MyFitnessPal premium. It holds a 4.7 rating in the App Store.

MyFitnessPal provides many tools and references to assist in weight loss goals. Track which foods you eat with 9 features including a calorie counter and restaurant logger. Input which exercises you choose from over hundreds of provided workouts. You can even share your progress through MyFitnessPal’s community features.

Track Your Foods

With all the tools from MyFitnessPal to track and log healthy foods, deciding on healthy meals may not be so time-consuming. The food database offers over 6 million meals to choose from when preparing meals. They even make eating out easier by allowing users to input restaurants to learn which foods off their menus fit into their weight loss goals. The only drawback is that there may be too many features, making it hard for users to decipher which are the most valuable for them.

You can also sync 50+ apps and devices with the app, eliminating the hassle from trying to log the calories burned or steps taken from outside resources.
