Overview

ObesityHelp is an organization that supports people living with and affected by obesity. It offers a community environment where people can discuss how having obesity or living with someone with obesity changes their lives. It can also serve as a joint motivational effort for people attempting to overcome obesity through weight loss surgery, diet, exercise, or any combination of the three. ObesityHelp’s community, resources, and conference information can be useful tools for many visitors to the website. 

 

Community

ObesityHealth strongly promotes the community aspect of the organization. The ‘Community’ tab lists multiple benefits for members and visitors of the site. Before or after someone becomes a member they can look up other members using a search feature. They can hear the stories of others and find support groups in this section.
